What is polished plaster ?

Polished plaster is a extremely fine lime putty, mixed with marble dust, pigments and other natural ingredients. What does Polished Plaster look like Polished Plaster can look like many things including Marble, Travertine, Stone, Lime stone, Sued plus many more.

How many Polished Plaster colours can I choose from?

We have a standard colour pallet for each polished plaster, but we also can match to Dulux dimensions colour system, giving you a choice of thousands of colours.

How may types of plaster do you use ?

We use 6 main types of plaster which are;

Lucido: A classic Italian polished plaster with high polish shine.

Metallic Stucco: A polished plaster with hints of gold, silver or green to give a shimmer like finish.

Marmorino Classic and Stucco: A lime based polished plaster with marble aggregates to give a stone look in mat finish. Can also be applied in pitted and dragged finishes.

Intona Lisco: A fine lime plaster used to create pitted, dragged and other textured finishes.

Marmorino Limestone/Yorkstone and Portland: A lime plaster with added aggregates to give a stone colour and look.

Macchiato Verde, Rosso: This is lime plaster with added green or red marble grains to give a subtle finish in a light tone.

Where can Polished plaster be used ?

Polished Plaster is suitable for many surfaces, walls and ceilings.

Polished Plaster can be used in a bathroom and even inside the shower cubicle. It looks great in hallways and entrances.Decorating the walls of a lounge in polished plaster can look stunning and modern.

Surfaces with a high traffic or water contact are coated in our hard wearing water repellent wax.

Can you design or stencil with Polished Plaster?

Yes, your imagination is your only limit with these plasters.

Polished plaster looks stunning with stencil detail and they look great with banding and other design work. We can even create logos and other design work within the plaster finish.

Are you willing to travel to my job ?

Yes, we work all over the UK and travelling to different projects is all part of our service.

What surface can Polished Plaster be applied to ?

Polished Plaster needs a sound, clean surface. All walls need to be free from wallpaper and in a sound condition. Polished plaster is applied in 3 thin coats and is not a substitute for skim plasters.
